Tonight I’ll be at the Applebee’s on Manchester Rd. in Ballwin doing tableside magic for their Tuesday kids night. I love doing restaurants! There is something about close up magic that is just … more magical somehow. Part of it is that it happens right under peoples’ noses (and sometimes even in their hands). They can’t believe what they’re seeing. And I especially like giving kids a sense of wonder with something that does not have batteries or a screen.

I worked many restaurants when I lived in Iowa. I’m looking forward to doing it again here in St. Louis.
